Minden Training 2010

26-28 Feb 2010, CTC Otterburn:
  • Junior group: (Fieldcraft) Introduction to orders; (Map Reading) Day & night navigation practice; (Skill at Arms) LSW; (Shooting) 25 m Range.
  • Senior group: (Fieldcraft) Introduction to Platoon Sergeant and Platoon Commander duties & exercise admin and preparation; (Map Reading) Preparation of practical exercise; (Skill at Arms) LSW; (Shooting) 25 m Range.
April 2010 (exact date and location tbc):
  • (Expedition) Pre expedition training.
1-3 May 2010 (location tbc):
  •  (Expedition) 3-Star and D of E Silver expedition.
5-6 June 2010, Cramlington:
  • (Skill at Arms) LSW training and assessments; (Shooting) Target rifle; (Drill) Assessments; (Physical Activity) Assessments if required.
14-27 August 2010, Strensall:
  • Annual camp programme.
24-26 September 2010, CTC Otterburn:
  • Junior group: Introduction to Minden Company; (Fieldcraft) Introduction to orders and ambushes; (Map Reading) Day & night navigation practice; (Skill at Arms) LSW.
  • Senior group: (Fieldcraft) Field training exercise and pre-SCIC training; (Map Reading) pre-SCIC training; (Skill at Arms) pre-SCIC training.

  • JCIC.

5-7 November 2010, CTC Otterburn:
  • Junior group: (Fieldcraft) Introduction to section attacks and night ambushes; (Map Reading) Orienteering exercise; (Skill at Arms) LSW.
  • Senior group: (Fieldcraft) Introduction to Platoon Sergeant and Platoon Commander duties & introduction to running an exercise; (Map Reading) Preparation of orienteering; (Skill at Arms) LSW.
 10-12 December 2010, CTC Otterburn:
  • Skills competition.
